If they fail to reply there is no punitive action that the UN can take against us. Even so, Australia was looking for a seat on the UN Security Council, so the government will not be wanting to upset the UN unnecessarily.

My plan is to see that we make as much fuss as possible and I’m hoping we can have some questions raised in Parliament. The Greens are our best avenue to see this happen as they were the only political party that supported Sheikh.

The Australian government has given no reply to the United Nations so far as we know. Perhaps they are assuming that we will all forget about the deadline and forget about Mansour. This will not happen!

Julia Gillard too, immediately after inception of her office as PM, did fail like her predecessors to intervene the Australia’s continued human rights violation in the much criticised case of highly unjust deportation of Dr. Mansour Leghaei on June 28, 2010.

Since then, we’re really skeptical who should we vote now and why?

May God shower you and your parents with his Good Grace and Mercy. InshAllah they both recover soon.

We have missed you greatly and words cannot describe the pain we felt when we saw you depart but rest assured your good work has become even greater. You have especially now made us realise how we need to proactively struggle for what is right . We will continue to fight for justice.
