Through my involvement with the Sheikh and his community, I have gained such a respect for our Muslim brothers and sisters. He has been very happy to be involved in our Christian community as a fellow member of our local community in Marrickville and I would hate to see all his good work undone by the fear now being generated by our Government.

Good on you the authorities of the Marrickvile council. you appreciate the contributions Dr Sheikh Mansour is make for all australians irrespective of their allegience to religions but the people sitting behind the glass doors of Canberra do not understand it as they are very away from their voters.History repeats itself. The Howard Government has learnt it lesson by not listening to the mass, others shoul expect very similar destiny if they pay a deaf ear to the public demand.

I would like to say few words thanking the almighty God for all his blessings and specially guidance.
Without His guidance we would not find individuals like Sheikh Mansour who has been fighting his case for years and years only for the sake of the community. Otherwise I am sure he would have had a much better like at his home town with no ongoing court cases and being treated like a criminal and even worse (no right for a FAIR GO).
Without Gods guidance we would not see individuals like Father Dave and other community members & politicians from Marrickville fighting the case of an honorable citizen for no monetary reward.

None can deny the contribution that Sheikh Mansur Leghaei make to the community. He has always promoted the idea of helping the needy. I joined the ESE and Australian Red Cross Blood Service to donate blood, after attending Sheikh Dr Leghaei’s lectures. He has always emphasized on being in the service of your community. Now I believe everyone in the community should support this man who has dedicated his life for the Australian community.

If the Marrickville council can appreciate the services of SHEIKH MANSOUR to the wider Australian community, why Hon Anthony Albanese, the local Federal Member who happens to be the leader of the house in the Federal Parliament could not stand up for a person who has been doing a lot of work through the Inter faith group in his constituency????????????? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thankyou Marrickville council and father Dave for your help and support. What the government is obviously failing to notice is that Australia needs more peaceful and diligent people like sheikh Mansour, whenever he can help someone no matter what race or religion he is always the first and he helps from the heart he is a genuine person. He is constantly building bridges between different communities within Australia and it is time that the government acknowledges his efforts before they lose him.

One lesson I have learned from Sheik Mansour,

is what Imam Ali (may peace be upon him) stated: You are either my brother in religion or my brother in humanity”

This quote which Sheik mansourbrought to my attention has changed my outlook on life and people in general. I have come to understand that our gregarious nature was emphasised by Imam Ali and the previous imams and prophets in that man should help each other regardless of race, colour religion or creed to get through the burdens life has to sometimes offer.

Sheik mansour is a unique character, a person who is extremely rational and kind hearted. Indeed it would be a great loss for Australians to see him go.

Sheik Mansour has played a pivotal role in reconciling my marriage with my wife and continues to offer my wife and I counseling and support, No other person let alone sheik or religious cleric has provided me with extensive support and motivation.

I wish Sheik Mansour and his family all the very best.
